Very clean rooms, nice staff and comfy chill areas. They offer a variety of shuttle services and tours to book at reasonable prices. Happy hour is very social time where you will meet lovely people :) Only negative: the lockers in the rooms can be a bit small.

This hostel is hands down one of the best I’ve ever been to and I’ve traveled all over the world. They provided happy hour (but one get one free beer) when I first checked in and I met a group of great people on the roof. I switched my plans so many times and they were always so accommodating. My debit card stopped working so they allowed me to wire them money and they took out cash for me within the hour. They truly saved me multiple times. I love Nexy hostel and would highly recommend the stay. Im a 27 yr old female from Seattle, WA USA and was solo backpacking just for reference if it matters.

I would recommend Nexy to anyone happy to sleep in dorms. It’s clean, neat and has good facilities. What sets Nexy aside from the rest though is the staff, they are an amazing group of people who go above and beyond. Thank you very much team!! xx

This hostel will do the trick if you're simply looking for a great budget option in a central location of Hanoi (Old Quarter and a stone's throw from French Quarter). We stayed two nights after arriving from a 30-hour journey from the United States. The stay cost about 2 million dong. For what we were expecting and in need of after such a long trip, this met our expectations. Our private room on one of the upper floors had a small private balcony, a fantastic mini-split AC unit, and a comfortable double bed. While there was water provided, we purchased our own bottled water from reception and elsewhere, but I would safely assume that this water would be potable (we've been traveling in Vietnam for about two weeks at the time of this writing and have since drank the provided water at a few hotels using our best judgment). After resting up the first night we were looking forward to getting to know other travelers in their 20s, but other guests did not seem interested in mingling during the non-hostel sanctioned social outlets. They offered a Hanoi walking tour at 2:30pm on the day after we arrived in Hanoi (Wednesday) and a happy hour. These may have been good opportunities for us, but we had our own plans. That said, this isn't the sort of hostel where simply sitting in a public space and giving off an approachable vibe will welcome conversation from strangers. All things considered, we found Nexy to be worth the $86 USD total for two nights, and found its cleanliness up to snuff, despite there being limited-seeming chances to meet other travelers and not much more than sufficiently comfortable room and board.

Awful. Would not recommend. Got there and the lock was broken on the locker under the bed. Not clean at all - the bins were overflowing all day until 2pm when the cleaners came. None of the toilets were clean - the sink was super dirty. They don’t even have the bum water guns on their toilets. Would never recommend anyone to stay here.
